black and tan fail

American craft brewery hops across the pond |... →
nicosan1: This was a post by American Public Media’s Marketplace from 2010.  Kai Ryssdal interviews Greg Koch of Stone Brewery in Escondido, CA about Stone’s attempt to expand American Craft Brewing to Europe.  A reverse move on the trend of European beers coming to the States, Stone is now invading the shores of Europe to take on the big boys in brewing.   Check it out!  Take no prisoners!

the greatest invention in the history of mankind...
“Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.”   — Dave Barry
